The Quail
We are currently raising Jumbo Pansy/Rotkopf Coturnix Quail and
Button (King/Chinese Painted) Quail.

The Jumbo Pansy Coturnix Quail project has become a fast favorite! Quail are an excellent small-scale protein source and are highly recommended for those with space or city ordinance/HOA limitations.
We have started with quality breeders and are in love with these birds. Impressive size, fast growing, gorgeous coloring, and good temperament. Male and female pansies can be identified as they feather out.
The Button Quail are a super fun pet type bird if most things about pet birds bug you! The buttons thrive in more terrarium type of environments vs. a conventional bird cage. They enjoy a substrate that they can roll around in, plants, rocks to climb on, etc. They are small, come in a WIDE variety of colors, prefer to live in pairs, and make calls and sounds that won't burst your eardrums! They are ideally kept indoors but can be kept in appropriate outdoor housing as well. They are a joy to watch but don't enjoy being handled.
We pride ourselves on keeping our breeders in enclosures that are as spacious and as natural as possible for their physical and mental wellbeing.
